Discussions

Text-only posts for questions and conversation. Create with a title and body, browse text tiles, and reply in text. Photos and video belong in Moments; selling stays in Listings.

Discussions are text-only. Create, browse, display, replies, and share-in do not attach photos or video. For media posts use Moments (and Glimpses). For peer buy/sell use Listings.

Open Discussions

  • Home: swipe to the Discussions feed (prompt: Swipe RIGHT to join Discussions)
  • Create menu / FAB → Discussion
  • Explore → tab Discussions
  • Community, organization, network, or public profile tabs that show Discussions
  • Search / tag search → Discussions
  • Bookmarks → tab Discussions (when you have bookmarked discussions)

Empty browse states include No Discussions yet, No Discussions to Explore, and No Shared Discussions.

Create a Discussion

Choose Discussion to open Create Discussion. Use Back, Next, and Post.

  1. Title (required) and Tell us more for the body. There is no media step.
  2. Posted to - tap Add and choose at least one placement. Audience can include Followers Only. Chips show like Primary · name.

Success: Discussion added successfully. Create overview also appears in Creating & Sharing.

Browse and read

Feeds show text tiles: title, body, author, and placement. There is no photo carousel on Discussion cards. Tap a post to open detail (app bar Discussion), like, bookmark, share, Connect, reply, or Flag when available for your tier.

Owner actions include delete (confirm when prompted). Empty detail: Discussion not available.

Replies

Replies are text. Use the comment composer and Post. Failure snackbar: Failed to add comment.

Share into Discussions

From another app, Share to Looma → destination Discussions continues with shared text only. Attached photos or files are not carried into Create Discussion. Moments and Listings can still receive shared media. See Creating & Sharing.
