Charity Donations

Organization charity drives and in-app donations through Cart and Checkout. Separate from peer Listings, Shops, Fundraisers, and the Looma Gives info page.

Donation is on the host. Organization or community header → Donation, or Discover in Storefronts. Drawer Looma Gives explains the giving program and links out; it does not open these drives. This guide is also separate from Listings, host Shop, and Fundraisers.

Who can donate in-app

  • You can open Donation from an organization when it has a charity.
  • Entering an amount, Add to cart, Cart, and Checkout require marketplace access (verified adults).
  • If blocked: The marketplace is not available for your account.

Open Donation

  1. Open the organization or community.
  2. Tap the header Donation icon when available (pending review may show Donation (Pending review)).

You can also open charities from Storefronts → Discover. App bar on the list: Charities. End of list may show No more items.

Drives and donate amount

Path: Organization → Charity → Drives → donation amount.

  1. Tap a drive card (name + short description) to open detail.
  2. On detail: Share, Donate, and Description.
  3. Donate opens the donation screen: hint Enter your donation amount, field Amount, and Add to cart.
  4. If amount is missing: Please enter a donation amount.

Cart and checkout

Donation lines appear under Donation Total in the shared Cart, then Checkout → Pay Now. Full cart and order steps are in Storefronts. Completed donations show under Profile My Orders. Host tax receipt downloads: Orders, refunds & tax receipts.
