Merchants

Apply for a merchant listing, wait for Looma review, publish to Discover, and optionally create a shop.

Merchants are business listings. People browse the listing. They do not join as members. Schools, churches, and sports clubs belong under Organizations. A shop is optional after listing approval.

Open Merchants

Drawer or rail → Merchants. Hub app bar: Merchants. Adults can tap Apply. Owned list: My merchants.

Apply to list a merchant

Title: Apply to list a merchant.

  • Applications may be limited (for example: Applications are currently only open in Canada.)
  • Fields include Name, About, Website, Phone, address for review, Networks
  • Optional switch: Apply as an organization
  • Submit application

Success: Application submitted. After Looma approves, add a banner and publish from settings.

After approval

  1. Open the merchant → gear → Settings
  2. Add a banner under Edit merchant
  3. Use Show in Discover when ready (locked until listing approval: Available after listing approval.)
  4. Optional: Manage commerce → create a Shop

Looma must approve the merchant listing before you can create a shop. The shop still needs shop approval before it is public.

Changing name, address, website, or phone can requeue review and remove you from Discover until re-approved.

Visitors see About, Hours, Location, and may Message this merchant.
