Host Settings & Manage commerce

Open host Settings, Manage commerce, create a Shop or Charity arm, edit details, catalog, orders, and go live.

Host Settings is for owners and staff. Buyers use Storefronts. Getting paid uses Host payouts. Personal creator rewards stay under Earnings & Payouts.

Open Host Settings

On an organization, community, or merchant page you manage, tap the gear (Settings). You can also open a host from Storefronts → Manage.

Hub title: Settings. Intro: Choose what you want to manage.

Common tiles

  • View page - see how this looks to members and visitors
  • Edit organization / Edit community / Edit merchant
  • Our Sponsors (org) / Organizations we sponsor (merchant)
  • Eligible memberships (merchant) - whose members count as proof. See ID Cards.
  • Show in Discover / Hide from Discover (after listing approval)
  • Manage commerce - create and open arms
  • Manage payouts - Stripe Connect
  • Manage staff - managers, clerks, admins, moderators
  • Transfer ownership - requires two-factor verification
  • Group chat (org/community owners)
  • Community (merchant optional attached community)

Manage commerce

Title: Manage commerce.

  • Organization: create a Shop or Charity
  • Community: create a Shop; causes you promote belong to organizations
  • Merchant: create a Shop after listing approval

Arm cards show status: Draft, Pending review, Approved, Rejected, Closed. Actions: Open / Create Shop / Create charity (and similar).

Communities may also show Causes we support / Manage causes.

Fundraiser arms may be unavailable while that program type is off in the product.

Create an arm

Titles like Create shop or Create charity. Enter name, description, seller details, and agreement, then Create Shop / Start Charity Drive. Success: Created. Next: add details for approval.

Arm dashboard

  • Edit details - name, banner, legal details, affiliation
  • Products and catalog / Drives and amounts (or raffles when enabled)
  • Orders - view, update, export
  • Reports - sales, buyers, refunds, charts
  • Tax receipts (charity) - Canadian official receipt donor data
  • Manage staff
  • Lifecycle: Submit for approval, Close / Reopen, live toggles such as Store is live / Charity is live
